GDA's 'On Fire' with SYFR Authority case study by G Design and Advertising Sheffield

GDA's 'On Fire' with SYFR Authority

GDA helped spread the message of fire safety this autumn with the design, production and distribution of the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (SYFR) Authority newsletter.

Targeting over half a million households across the Yorkshire region, GDA successfully orchestrated the mass direct mail shot.

Following the client's brief, GDA designed a distinctive look and feel to the new SYFR newsletter in order to create a contrast between this and the regularly issued Authority warnings. With such an important message to communicate, the newsletter needed to earn more than just a cursory inspection - it was essential that recipients were encouraged to read and absorb the newsletter in its entirety.

Utilising the client's brand identity to promote recognition and awareness, an exciting and vibrant full colour template was created, complete with copy and photographic images. From the approved style, three further versions of the front cover, specific to each area, were produced alongside three generic inner pages.

As well as being educated about the importance of fire safety, recipients of the new SYFR newsletter will love the new format, complete with feature articles describing personal experiences and the crucial service carried out by the SYFR Authority.
