GDA Integrates 'Green' Theme into Cost-Saving Scheme! case study by G Design and Advertising Sheffield

GDA Integrates 'Green' Theme into Cost-Saving Scheme!

Running a fleet of around 7,000 buses and coaches in over 100 towns and cities across the UK, Stagecoach is one of the largest travel operators in the country. Committed to reducing the level of carbon emissions on our roads, as well as assisting regional businesses in the current economic climate, the Yorkshire division of the company got GDA on board to design their most recent initiative - a new Corporate Travel Plan.

The purpose behind the campaign is to encourage employees seeking a 'greener' way of travelling to work, to sacrifice a portion of their monthly salaries in return for tax-free Stagecoach travel vouchers - saving them a minimum of 31% tax on wages. Companies participating in the scheme can then expect to save up to 12.8% on tax and NI contributions, thus helping to cut costs - a major benefit in these financially troubled times!

Integrating a 'green' theme into an essentially money-saving scheme proved no tricky task for GDA's savvy team of designers! Clever use of conceptual imagery captured within a stylistically branded 'carbon footprint', effectively communicates the combined financial and environmental message that the client needed to deliver.

Rolled out across an A5 6pp DM Mailer (to whet businesses' appetites) and a Comprehensive Information Pack (consisting of bespoke folder, A5 12pp booklet, FAQ Sheet and Case Study), businesses in the region cannot fail to be impressed by the fresh and sophisticated design-style of Stagecoach's latest campaign!
