Temporary Account Handler (to cover Maternity Leave)
We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to be appointed on a temporary basis to cover a period of approximately 6 months' maternity leave.

You must have experience of working within a creative agency, bags of commercial awareness and be confident to work on and develop existing GDA accounts.

We're a 'hands on' team and would expect you to be the same, comfortable working through the line. So, if you're a self-starter, good at making things happen and servicing clients to the highest standard, we want to hear from you!

A Brand To Inspire Life-Saving Support!

GDA's skills in design and brand management came to the aid of a worthwhile cause recently, as the South Yorkshire-based agency contributed some vital creative energy into Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity's re-brand initiative.

In a bid to increase public awareness of the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, nationally as well as within the local community, GDA set about the crucial task of updating the Charity's tired-looking persona with a fresh and inviting new identity.

Public misapprehension regarding the former brand image, tethered with a common inability to identify the cause it represented, demanded an urgent change in perception of Weston Park Hospital and, ultimately, of the Cancer Charity itself.

As one of only three dedicated cancer hospitals in the UK and an innovative world-leader in terms of its work within Cancer Research, WPH Cancer Charity challenged GDA to envision a distinct identity that was commensurate with the Hospital's position, and human-orientated enough for people to instantly connect with.

Inspired by the Hospital's own life-affirming philosophy and dedication to advancing cancer 'Research',' Treatment' and 'Care' extended to sufferers and their families, GDA's brand solution embraces the Charity's inherent optimism and directly associates it with the fight against cancer.

Vivid purples and blues effectively dispense with the dour and unresponsive visage of the former logo, replacing it with a personified brand that softly exudes warmth, care and protection. Striving for the attention and generosity of nationwide businesses, it was imperative that the new brand was as visually appealing as their closest competitors' in order to maximise support.

Commenting on GDA's involvement with the re-brand initiative, WPH Cancer Charity Director, Rachel Thorpe said:

Exciting and navigationally-friendly, this will effectively improve and extend the range of services currently on offer to patients, relatives, friends and supporters alike. On-line booking systems will make it easier to register for fundraising events, with a live forum facilitating constant communication and support.
